Japanese Handmade Puzzle Box - Square 18 steps Yosegi/ichimatsu

The yosegi marquetry pattern differs from box to box. The traditional yosegi design is used only on the top panel, while the back side (bottom panel) is made by gluing sliced walnut onto plywood. side panels feature a checkered yosegi design.
