The top and bottom panels are not solid single pieces of wood. Instead, they are finished with sliced Yosegi sheets that are applied to the surface.

This puzzle box is opened with 18 steps. The design features designer's original creative Yosegi pattern, made in July 2025. The Japanese puzzle box is made entirely out of wood. This particular design was created by Hiroyuki Oka.
