The goal is to take the two parts of the cross apart. It does not require any physical force or banging and there are no magnets.
This might look like Wil's original Aluminium Cross but the outside appearance is where that stops. This is a totally different puzzle!
In September 2015 Wil was challenged by a customer to see if he could design an easier version of his Aluminum Cross puzzle; something non-puzzle people could do and enjoy and truly understand the elegant solution. Wil came up with the first version of the Sweta Cross. It's internal workings are nothing like the Aluminium Cross.
The next step was to create this version of the puzzle. Something to challenge more seasoned puzzlers. It's possibly more closely related to our Don't Get Cross puzzle but with many, many more twists and turns and a hell of a lot of little ball bearings that I'm happy to say can't fall out at any point but do get in the way when you're trying to solve it!
The name Sweta Cross is a combination of Wil's girlfriend's name and the country of Switzerland because that's where the original request for the design came from.
The puzzles we received from Wil are part of his original numbered set. So each puzzle is engraved with the number and the name of the puzzle and Wil's signature so you know it's an original. The puzzle numbered 055 in the photo is an example only. We cannot guarantee which number you will receive.

Wil is a true puzzle solver and has the philosophical view that puzzles should not come with solution sheets. So, if you purchase one of these puzzles there will be no solution supplied.
